On the bank of Cauvery

It was yet another trip to a place where heaven meets the Ground Zero on planet earth. A place which is just 30 songs away from bangalore (i meant 85km from bangalore). Yes, believe it or not start listening to songs from the time you leave your home and the moment you cross 30th or may be 35th song you are at the main get of this heavenly place called Bheemeshwari Cauvery Fishing Camp (CFC).

Life at CFC is very simple... eat, drink, relax, walk on the banks of river, trekking, coracle boat ride of 3km in river and best part is no idiot box (TV), the mobile signal is very weak.

Here are few snaps

Waves that attracted US...!!!

Being at beach is always the best time in anybody's life, specially if its early in the morning. What you get to hear is just the sound of waves knocking your ears and vast endless water in front of your eyes and of course few people enjoying this moment and few fishermen trying their luck with fishes which later would blast our taste buds.

Here are few lovely moments captured during our visit to couple of beaches atPondicherry:

At the Big Beach, approx 18km from pondicherry city towards caddulore. Didn't see a single tourist in this beach except of lots of fishermen with their family.

At the Auro Beach, approx 6km from pondicherry city towards chennai. Captured few moments at this beach of Payal and Atharva.

A Trip to Kudremukh

Kudremukh(kannda: ಕುದುರೆಮುಖ) also spelled Kuduremukha is a mountain range in chikkamagaluru districk in karnataka, India. It is also the name of a small town situated near the mountain, about 48 kilometers from Karkala and about 400(+) kilometers from bangalore. The name Kuduremukha (as it is known by the natives) literally means 'horse-face' (in the local language Kannada) and refers to a particular picturesque view of a side of the mountain that resembles the same.

We drove this beautiful place some where in last week of April'06. and this is was my first trip in my new car. trust me the 70% of the road from bangalore to kudremukh is awesome, specially the roads in kudremukh itself.... superb!!!

that's the mountain which horse face.

in the forest of kudremukh

on our way to nature camp where we stayed.

a road to heaven (road in kudremukh town)... ripped my car to cross 100kmph

don't remember the water fall name but yes can't forget the stairs that we had to climb down and back up would be roughly 2000+ steps.

wanted to dip... but the pond wasn't clean enuf.
